Daphne's Diary.

From now on the 'Exhibiting' page will be more by way of a news letter, keeping you up to speed  with her activities throughout the year. I hope you will find this a more interesting format.

2009 -2010 has been a busy year for Daphne. For a while she sold from Greenwich craft Market. Early in 2009 she exhibited  at the '
Life Cafe'  in Colchester
again. In July, she successfully exhibited and sold at the Tendring County show , then  in February-March  2010  exhibited and sold at  'The Cargoe Shed' Tauranga New Zealand. This was something of a working holiday, as at 69 years old, she also back  packed around South Island and used her time there to produce some stunning new work (see 'Native Bush', 'Sea Opal', and 'Autumn at Mac Claran Falls'.

Her private showings at Beaumont Hall (Invitation only) have so far been a resounding success (this year on June 21st. And June 28th).
I plan to stage more of these for her, so watch this space and if you are interested in attending one of these events, you can contact me by e-mailing to admissions@daphne-dorney.co.uk  Following the negative attitude to our  personal invitations approach, admission to future showings  will  be available ONLY by request; I am not wasting money on sending invitations to people who don't R.S.V.P.

She exhibited again this year at the 'Tendring Show'  July 10th. but that will be all for a few months, as she needs some time to herself. All being well, there will be a Spring exhibition at Beaumont Hall in 2011, but if you would like to come, do please apply for your invite by March 30th. at the latest.
