Hi, I'm Daphne M Dorney. My latest trip to New Zealand, which
included back packing on the sSouth Island, whale watching,
a
glacier walk, and a tandem skydiving attempt.(lucky me),
resulted
in
my creating three new installations. I call them 'Native
Bush NZ,
'Autumn
At MacLaren Falls', and 'Purple Dream Time'..No
I'm
not a gap
year student, I just started late, being 70 this
birthday.
I
didn't start
college until I retired at 60, and I 've only been
painting
seriously
for three years. My work is abstract
and has
so far
explored
concepts such as 'mesopic light', the nature of
visual
perception
related to light, and sub conscious partial image recall.
I
have
exhibited at the Life Café,
and sold at The
Cargo Shed New
Zealand, County

and at
Greenwich Craft Market . I am focusing my attention on the
